Staff

The Antares Foundation was set up in 1999 by a group of specialists who have been working for many years in various international humanitarian organisations. They have a broad experience as managers, policymakers and consultants. Antares now has eight permanent staff members.

Antares staff is comprised of:Anneke Fasol, Erik Flapper, Michele de Haas, Priya Machado, Iris van der Mark, Tineke van Pietersom, Bas Rijnen, Winnifred Simon, Albertien van der Veen and Holly Young.

Advisory Board

The Antares foundation has an international advisory board consisting of independent experts with a humanitarian background. In 2009 the advisory board consists of Alastair Ager (member); Ton Berg (member); R.J. Kuiper (treasurer); Pim Scholte (member); E. Mispelblom Beyer (member) and Hans Grootendorst (chairman).

Executive Board

The Antares Foundation is part of the ARQ Foundation. In 2010 the executive board consists of Jan Schaart and Jan Wilke Reerds. The Arq Foundation unites and supports specialised organisations around the theme of psychotrauma. Its purpose is to facilitate cooperation between these organisations, so that they can strengthen each other and so that each one may perform its work in the field of psychotrauma in an optimal way. Arq ensures the safeguarding as well as the optimum use of the expertise and experience in the field of psychotrauma that have been gained over the past 30 years. As a holding which provides support services, Arq does not itself carry out any care tasks.For further information on Arq and the partners in Arq, please go to: www.arq.org

Associates

The Antares Foundation co-operates with a global network of specialist associates from within the psychosocial field for research and other projects, working groups, field missions, consultancies, trainings, briefings and debriefings. Voluntary contributions to our mission are also warmly welcomed for head office, administrative and other tasks, provided that the volunteer has the necessary expertise.
